On Ramp

On Ramp Classes

Our on ramp course consists of 3 one-on-one training sessions designed to ensure all participants can move safely in a high intensity environment. We will be focusing on bodyweight movements and light weight implements. We’ll teach you the basics, emphasize proper technique, and you’ll get a kick ass workout too.

What to Expect

Each session a coach will teach and demonstrate the foundational movements we use in CrossFit, as well as review range of motion and various scales to get you moving safely. Following the instruction portion of the session, you will participate in a CrossFit style workout. You will get sweaty and you will have fun. Once you are competent in the movements we use daily in CrossFit you may graduate to our regular CrossFit classes and get the full CrossFit experience!

Bootcamp "Just Move"

Bootcamp

Programs are designed to be all-levels and scream-free motivators. The fast-paced, ever-changing circuit of strength and cardio exercises keeps bodies guessing and minds from becoming bored.

Class Times

Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 7:00am and 6:30pm

What to Expect

The perfect sixty minute workout. Move through a series of high intensity intervals that combine power + endurance. Regardless if you’re an experienced athlete or new to fitness, this class will push you to get in, get moving & get results!

CrossFit Class

CrossFit Classes

CrossFit Group Classes

You’ll be participating in group classes utilizing CrossFit methodologies outlined below.

  • Diet: lays the molecular foundations for fitness and health.
  • Metabolic Conditioning: builds capacity in each of three metabolic pathways, beginning with aerobic, then lactic acid, and then phosphocreatine pathways.
  • Gymnastics: establishes functional capacity for body control and range of motion.
  • Weightlifting and Throwing: develop ability to control external objects and produce power.
  • Sport: applies fitness in competitive atmosphere with more randomized movements and skill mastery.
What to Expect

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics in order to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter. This is the reason this program gets acclaim from military personnel, professional athletes, soccer Moms, Dads and grandparents alike.

All of our CrossFit Group Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

A certified coach will guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout.

What does it take? …It takes a passionate, knowledgeable trainer to show you what to do, and keep you on the right track.

But that’s not all we offer, either. You’ll love both our supportive, fun community, and our exciting, quick and new workout routines ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. On top of that, you’ll be able to benefit from one-on-one nutritional guidance, rounding out a fail-safe approach to fitness that may just shock you with the type of success you will quickly begin to see.

Our trainers will design individualized programs especially suited to meet your needs and provide you with a safe and challenging workout. Whether your goal is a well developed physique, better cardiovascular endurance, or improved overall health, we’ll be there to provide expert instruction, guide you through proper form and alignment, and of course, offer you the motivation and support you need.

Pick It Up Anywhere

Who’s PIU Anywhere for?

The PIU Anywhere program is for those who may be too busy, don’t have access to, can’t afford, or just don’t enjoy a regular gym. These workouts can be done with extremely limited equipment, in very little space, and in a short time if necessary.

But don’t worry, if you have more time and/or more equipment – you will have those options too!

What’s Included?

The PIU Anywhere program includes up to 3 versions of the daily workout. The workouts will be delivered to you through our workout tracking app, SugarWOD.

You will also have access to a private Facebook group where you can connect with other PIU Anywhere members and have direct access to Coach Hannah and Matt. The Facebook Group is where you will see demonstration videos, advice on how to approach each workout, nutrition articles/recipes, information about special in person workouts at PIU, and extra credit programs.

What does PIU cost?

PIU Anywhere costs $10/month!

PIU Individual Design Classes

Who’s PIU Individual Design for?

For those in search of an individualized program, the traditional route has been personal training. However, personal training can be costly and at some point no longer needed once the athlete has a firm technical grasp. We created individual design as a means to facilitate more people getting the benefits of individualized programming without having to pay for a coach’s time every session.

All athletes complete an initial assessment to determine their strength and weaknesses. Based on their goals, the coach will then reverse engineer a plan that takes an athlete from where they are to where they want to go. The workouts are delivered via a mobile app. The athlete completes the workouts during Open Gym hours.

To ensure you are continuously progressing, you’ll meet with your coach for a 30 minute monthly consultation.

How does it work?

Step 1. Schedule your No Sweat Intro – (15 minutes) We will discuss your goals, prior training, any injuries, availability and answer your questions.

Step 2. Personal Training Assessment – (60 minutes) We combine a body composition assessment, movement screens and physical assessments to determine your strengths & weaknesses. This is how we determine where to start your program!

Step 3. Receive Custom Workout Program- (20 Minutes) – Based off of the initial testing we build a custom workout program. The program is delivered to you via an app (TrueCoach). We use this 20 minutes to cover all of the small details (but important!) of your personalized program.
